Functions of the Dreyproper 4.0

Frequently asked questions and answers

During cleaning, the Dreyproper dissolves all solids, such as sludge; during secondary treatment, organic substances and microorganisms are broken down. The device then removes impurities such as heavy metals or dissolved gases.

There are three different versions of the Dreyproper (4, 8 and 12). This means it can clean up to 12 cooling channels simultaneously.

We offer you professional process water treatment. This is also known as water treatment in the industrial sector, where the raw water is treated using filtration and reverse osmosis systems. Any turbidity and microorganisms are removed from the water during the process.

Cooling water is a coolant that is used in industrial processes and power plants to dissipate heat. It is part of the cooling water circuit in the industrial sector.

Water is mixed with additives such as antifreeze. This prevents the machines from overheating and ensures consistently high efficiency.

The treatment of cooling water includes techniques such as softening, reverse osmosis or nanofiltration.

The Dreyproper 4.0 can effectively clean tools such as aluminum die casting tools or injection molding tools. It can also clean cooling channels to remove deposits and impurities (limescale, rust, dirt). Heat exchangers can also be cleaned with the Dreyproper.

A special chemical cleaner is used for this, which the Dreyproper flushes through the system. Our device takes over this task completely for you and cleans the cooling channels fully automatically.

The Dreyproper 4.0 can clean up to 12 cooling channels simultaneously. All you have to do is connect it to the tool and it will start the cleaning program, including the patented Rampling process.

Another special feature: The Dreyproper pumps fresh water through the channels via the circulation pump to check whether there is a leak. If no leakage is found, the Dreyproper starts to introduce the cleaning chemical and doses it automatically.

A water cooler dissipates the heat from a system using a liquid. The principle is based on a closed circuit in which water or a special coolant (e.g. with frost and corrosion protection) absorbs the heat from a source (e.g. a tool or a machine) and dissipates it via a heat exchanger:

  1. Heat absorption – coolant circulates through the cooling and coolant channels in the engine and absorbs excess heat
  2. Heat transport – pump transports heated liquid to the heat exchanger
  3. Heat dissipation – liquid releases absorbed heat into the environment (supported by mechanical or electrical fan for better circulation)
  4. Heat recovery – The dissipated heat can be reused before it is completely released into the environment. For example, the energy generated can be used for pre-heating in the cooling circuit or – if designed accordingly – for heating halls (increases the energy efficiency of the overall system).

The main task of a cooling system is to dissipate excess heat from machines, tools or electronic components to prevent overheating and damage.

  1. Temperature control:
It ensures that the system operates within an optimum temperature range.
  2. Protection against overheating: Without cooling, components could be damaged or the efficiency of the system could be reduced.
  3. Performance optimization: A stable temperature improves the efficiency and service life of machines and motors.
  4. Maintaining the effectiveness of the cooling system: The Dreyproper effectively removes deposits that are already present. Regular cleaning of the cooling channels and cooling water channels keeps the cooling system efficient and free of limescale, rust and dirt.
  5. Maintaining the effectiveness of the tools: It is important to regularly derust the cooling channels to remove rust deposits and prevent heat dissipation from being impaired.

Effective cooling is essential in many areas, from tools and combustion engines to industrial machinery and computers.

A cooling system is a technical device that dissipates heat from a machine, motor or other system in order to prevent overheating and ensure an optimum operating temperature.

Components of a cooling system:

  1. Coolant (water or coolant) – Transports the heat through the system.
  2. Lines and cooling channels – The coolant is transported to the mold via lines or pipes. Integrated cooling channels in the tool itself ensure targeted heat dissipation at the relevant points.
  3. Water pump – Ensures the circulation of the coolant.
  4. Heat exchanger (e.g. cooler) – Releases the absorbed heat to the environment.
  5. Valves & Thermostats – Regulate the cooling circuit and ensure a uniform temperature.

A distinction is also made between two types of water cooling systems:

  • Open cooling: Water is taken from an external source (e.g. river, lake or water tank) and either discharged again after use or partially released through evaporation – for example in evaporative cooling systems or cooling towers. It is therefore not a completely closed cycle with water losses.
  • Closed cooling: The water circulates in a closed circuit and is cooled via a heat exchanger.
